Supportive Cooperation
Head of the Dürrnberg Research & Archaeology, Keltenmuseum Hallein.
We are looking forward to the cooperation regarding a conference presenting the results of the CATA project, as well as the connection between the two core La Tène regions in Austria, Dürrnberg and Traisental. Moreover an exhibition is under consideration to further elaborate the importance of those regions for the Late Iron Age.
Anthropologist researching in the fields of human biology and bioarchaeometry. His area of specialisation is dental anthropology. After holding professorships in Freiburg (until 1999) and Mainz (until 2013), he is currently working at the Danube Private University in Krems/D. and at the University of Basel. He is primarily concerned with osteoarchaeology, palaeogenetics and biochemistry in order to research population-historical processes and the fields of human nutrition, mobility and land use.
